Just a normal day in school....

NOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just as i thought my day in school would be like any other day.. i was sooooo wrong!! firstly, it started out with The 28th Student Council's stepping down ceremony. watching the video about their journey, some how reminded me of the similar journey i took part in. BUT, that's another story.

Returning to what was so shocking about today.

After assembly, we had uninspiring lessons and lectures. (as always) followed by the usual dose of my class's "making-a-nuisance-of-ourselves" session. =)

HERE COMES THE SHOCKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just as we thought we were heading for our usual Moral Ed. lesson with all the LONG talks about prevention against STDs and other sex related lessons. the most shocking was yet to come.

my dear form/moral ed. teacher talked about how there is no such thing as safe sex and he proceeded to show us statistics to prove to us how unreliable condoms were. anyhuuu.. THEN!!! he proceeded to take out a HUGE box of Durex condoms from a red plastic bag.

wooooooah! immediately, all the girls started giggling and some were in a state of shock. (i.e emm, jo & me)

if that's not shocking enough.. he then opened the box and took out a packet of condom! and he continued his lesson about how condom is useless at preventing HIV and all that.

AAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!! he then OPENED THE PACKET!! and unrolled the condom. oh my goodness. at this point, some girls (like peishan) were already on the verge of fainting.

haha.. and it just keeps getting better and better. Mr Lim then opened a bottle of SAV water and emptied it into the condom.thus, causing it to inflate into a ultra weird looking water balloon.

yes... you heard me right. A condom was turned into a water balloon right before our very eyes!!!!! with all the queals and giggles in the background, u can imagine the entire scenario. *grins*

the water-inflated condom was even passed around the class!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!! we had to actually feel the texture of the condom. hmmmmmmm..

anyhu, that was our not-so-ordinary day in school. ha!!!!

Lesson of the day:
(according to the lesson)

Sex is evil.
There is no such thing as safe sex.
Condoms are not 100% fool-proof.
No matter what grade of condoms u use,
HIV will always get you!!
