*pardon the typos* im very excited now..alright alright.. although the next event only took like 2 mins to take place.. it was still the absolutely, positively MOST ROMANTIC thing i've ever witnessed!!!
yes.. it was even more romantic than when the dumb dumb romeo drank the posin beside juliet and then juliet woke up.. and you know how the story ends la..
aaaanyhu! digressing.. *clears throat*
alrite alrite. after watching Cabaret at the Esplanade, i met brendan and we headed to the bayside to watch this band called TIEN perform. we've heard them at Youth Park before and they were gd.. so yea.. we went to watch the thingy.
then!!!! halfway through their first set for the night, the band suddenly stopped and said.
"alright people. now my collegue has to make a special announcement to someone special to him. so please give him a round of applause!!"
then this guy (whilst pulling his girlfriend's hand) made his way to the middle of the audience. then he proceeded to say this.
( it may not be word for word. but its the best my little mind can rmb)
" this lady beside me now. has been with me for 7 long years already.and through it all, she never once complained about anything at all. we've been through school together, been through NS, and even through work. and eventhough im fat, she never once cared about it at all and loved me for who i am. so now.."
(he proceeds to kneel down, open a box and showed a duper bling engagement ring!!)
"will you marry me??"
and obviously..all the females went *awwwwwwws* and all the guys went *woo hoo!!* and some even said *You go baby!!!!* sniggers. i.e me and brendan. oh man!!! it was soooooooooo sweet!! and utterly romantic la!! wah lao eh!! that girl is one lucky lady.
as if that wasnt romantic enough, the lead singer of the band started to sing this song by robbie william -she's the one.

*sigh* well. at least there's still hope for love to happen in this world.

anyhu!!! back to HOW THE DAY STARTED!!! yes yes. my dear daddy brought the whole family to have some japanese buffet. wah lao. and he gave me the IMPORTANT task of ordering la!!
wrong move man dad! haha. cuz i ordered so manyb handrolls and all.. my family was just rolling on the floor by the end of lunch la! haha. cuz i ordered too much. *oops* sorry guys. still love u alot!! haha.

then.. i proceeded to head to esplanade to watch Cabaret!! with lovely siew woonie.. courtesy of levin's friend. haha. THANKS LEVTH!!!!!!!!!!!! *hugs* free leh! haha.
the best part was. the 2 of us had our own little secluded booth in one corner. we were on the 2nd floor balcony AND right infront of the stage!! *gasps*
and i got the tickets for free la!! wah lao!!
this are the ONLY 2 pictures i took in the concert hall. haha. cuz i wsnt supposed to la!! haha. can u see??! so many pple and the 2 of us had our own little private section. haha. damn funky.*sigh* if only the person beside me was a cute date or somethin.. haha! ultimate romance! buuuut.. watching it with my darling woon is good enough. i've missed her soo much la!!haha. anyhuu.. a bit bout the play...wooooooooooooooow! yes. just one word to dsescribe it. WOW!!dont even get me started bout the costumes and extravagant sets man!! excellent!! PLUS!!! it was soooo racy and raunchy la!! i couldnt help grinning to myself. just think about it. Moulin Rogue. but with tinnier and skimpier costumes =)sniggers* i saw a total of 4 butts. yes yes yes. FOUR BUTTOCKS!! haha. and oh!! emma yong is one kick ass good actress and boy can she sing man!!hmmm.. expected more from Feixiang though.. but his French accent was exquisite. haha. overall.. the show was fantastic la!! but woonie ah.. blur blur one.. when the show ended she turned to me and said " i dont get the ending leh. wat happened??"haha. the think was tt.. the show was set in Berlin, in the time when Hitler was taking over the power in Germany and starting cause the Germans to have a strong hatred for Jews. and yadah yadah.. the Caberet ends up in smokes due to the war and everybody has a sad ending..the show may be sad.. BUUUUT!!!! wah lao. that proposal ah. *romantic sia!!! haha!!! c la.. my ah lian roots are surfacing. it was soo romantic.. sigh**my future husband.. if by some freak ass chance tt ur reading this..YOU BETTER COME UP WITH A KICK-ASS PROPOSAL SCENE ALRIGHT!!!*evil laugh* nah.. all i need now.. is .."a little bit of tenderness and a little bit of love.."
